Fera – Episode 1: “The Call to Return”

🌿 A moment when the heart stirs at the whisper of a memory — the beginning of a return, not to a place, but to the self.
It was one of those nights.
Still. Heavy. A kind of silence that makes you feel watched — by your past.
In a forgotten corner of the room sat an old metal trunk. Dusty, untouched.
Today, without reason, it called out to me.
I sat down, opened the latch, and the musty air of old years rose up.
Among books, clothes, and yellowed papers lay a sealed envelope —
the handwriting instantly familiar.
"Come back. Everything isn't over yet."
The date? Two decades ago.
I stared at it. Not just a letter, but a pull, a whisper from someone I once was.
Through the half-closed window I saw the same old camphor tree.
We used to talk beneath it. Whisper secrets we thought would last forever.
Had I left only a place?
Or an entire version of myself?
Sometimes, the call to return isn’t loud.
It comes gently — in the rustle of old paper, in the memory of a scent,
and when it comes, you can't ignore it.
That night, I decided—
I must go back, at least once.
